For sale, for a local friend of mine:

1977 Tom Kellogg road racing bicycle

This is Tom’s 16th frame built on his own, made custom for Dave Demu zio, who was a junior racer in Redding, PA. From Tom’s very early days, long before the existence of Spectrum.

Actual measurements are: 59cm seat tube & 60.5cm top tube (both taken c-c).

Serial numbers stamped under the bottom bracket shell are: 77 * 16 * 25 * 30 .

Other notes from a 2006 conversation with the builder: Full 531 Tubing. Sand cast full sloping fork crown. 72.5 deg. seat tube angle, 73 deg. head tube angle. 2-5/8” b.b. drop. 23.5” to p tube.

Originally painted a deep orange, and repainted in about the early mid 1990s . Never ridden since repaint … it remained a wall-hanger! Paint chip on side of d/t from brake swing has been lightly touched up, plus one or two other very small paint blemishes. No dents, dings, bends, cracks, rust, corrosion , etc. Most parts are very fine to mint, with some being NOS, were all instal led after the repaint. Wheels however, have a bit more mileage than the rest.

Long point thinned lugs, VERTICAL dropouts (do NOT have Campagnolo markings visible), d/t shifter bosses, top of b.b. cable guides, top tube brake cable

guides, d/t water bottle bosses, integrated seat binder and proprietary bind er screw, English threading, recessed OR nutted brake mounting.
