Today's Pic of the Day comes from Toni Theilmeier (Thanks again, Toni!).
Toni writes: "I have recently found a photo in a book (Piet Maaskant, Wiel aan Wiel, Zwolle 1967) which I really like. It shows Dutch rider Tiemen Groen on a rather lightweight Peugeot: Most of the equipment needed to derail the chain has been dropped. The front brake shoe alignment, however, is a thing to behold and shudder."
Toni continues: "Freek Faro advises that Tiemen Groen was one of the first and foremost talents of his day (early to mid sixties), even turned pro, and was Freek´s ideal racer in that he united much riding style/souplesse with a lot of power. There are two further photos of Groen in Freek´s wooly album."

"Wooly album"... Hmmm, with autumn in the air and woolen warmers returning to our daily wardrobes, it might catch-on.
