When I was 12, i went to a coin shop downtown and they had a box of 500 mercury dimes. I spent 1 hour going through the box, picked out 20 dimes, and bought them (20c/each). I managed to get almost a full set of 1940-1945 AU(almost uncirculated) or VF(very fine) dimes.

Once I had bought the dimes, the owner promply walked over to the box and marked up the price to $0.30 each dime. I believe that he realized that he had just made a sale at a substantial loss.

So, you pointed out to Barron that there was a mistake in one of his listings, without having made a bid. When someone points out a mistake, most people usually fix their mistake right away. In this case, the only way to fix the mistake was to take down the auction and relist the item.

If you walked into a shop today and found an "Campagnolo Record Skeleton Caliper Set" on sale for $25, would you question the owner about whether they missed a zero on the price? Or would you find the youngest and most inexperienced clerk in the shop and try to complete a sale ?? I hope you'd try the former.

I have bought things from Baron and Cecile many times in the past. I always consider their prices to be a good deal, compared to ANY OTHER SOURCE WITH SIMILAR (i.e. NOS) items. The prices are usually a good deal (i.e. less than) compared to present campagnolo prices, too.
