First order was veeeery loooong in shipping, and since it was placed recently after I had been stiffed by a different eBay seller based in Belgium (that's another story) I was very jumpy about the delay. There was no reply to multiple emails, but I persisted and I kept it civil, then finally Cecile wrote me an apologetic response and after even more waiting my order finally arrived. My second order was for a single inexpensive item that I had no rush about and was prepared not to have for at least 6 months, but that one came relatively fast and without a hitch...go figure. My sense is that their business is prone to cycles of chaos and high drama, but they seem to remain in business and so I'd keep trying rather than write them off. I was tempted to stop by as I passed thru Santa Barbara a couple days ago, but being right around New Year I reckoned they might be closed. Perhaps some CR list member local to SB can report as to whether their retail shop is still functioning and how things look there. Alan Goldsworthy SanFrisco, CA, USA
