Sasha,

I own a 1974 Jack Taylor Tour of Britain. A superb bike! Mind you, I'm partial to JTs having bought this one brand new in 1974 and kept it ever since. Currently it is a bare frame showing all it's 32 years of use and sometimes abuse from me who did not always coddle it. You can see it here: http://www.blackbirdsf.org/taylor/6656.html

The equipment on the one you're considering might well be original since many JTs back then (including mine) were sold as bare frames and the owners built them up however they chose.

I agree with Dale's range of values. For reasons I've never understood, JTs tend to be undervalued in the marketplace. They've never seemed to be trendy. But that makes them a bargain in my opinion!

Good luck,

David
