Thanks for bringing this to our attention Raymond and Brian. I quit reading the ebay news years ago as this forum serves to police the ebay police and then some.
I think this new ebay bidding policy completely blows. It takes all of the fun out of the auction and will certainly encourage me to bid less. Rob Chesnut would never make it working for Donald Trump. Trump says, "If you have a system that works, don't change it." Those are words to run any business by (regardless of your feelings toward Rosie O'Donut.)
Raymond has some very good points regarding the new bidding procedure. How will we know if we are jacking up the price on an item a fellow CR member or friend is bidding on? How will we know if the seller is jacking the bidder to a new high?
