Subject: [CR]Manufrance and A.Bertin machines on French Ebay

As the List has only recently been discussing Manufrance and Hirodelle mach ines, I thought i would out the "demi-course/sports" bike on French Ebay - Item No 230075777897.. Worth the asking price but not worth the cost of the transport costs to the USA.

Also on the same site a very fine example of a 1960 A Bertin road bike, wit h full Campag rig...I asssume it's early Record . This is a large frame sui table for some of the long-legged fellows on your side of the pond..and the machine looks to quite a specimen. Item No 330072110308

Of course there is always a snag...in this case, the seller who lives in th e Pyrenees, in the far SW of France will not send the bike, so it has to be collected in person. I think I would have bought it otherwise.. Pity..but there again it's about 3" too bif for me.
