I've never seen a Crescent with Vitus tubing - only Reynolds 531. (I did see on the site that they offered both). I've got an orange one with the taxi-cab decals on the top tube that's Reynolds. Well - it used to be orange/taxi colors - I gave up looking for a real SS model and painted it silver with gold lugs to mimic the stainless steel model. I love the ride - even though there is that toe-overlap evryone mentions, but it's still a very smooth ride. I've retro-modified mine with Campy 8-speed as a touring rig - pics on my home page at http://www.geocities.com/davefromainetoo/Crescent.html

Hi Listers, I have been offered a classic Swedish Crescent bike. It could be sold as either a complete bike or a frame/fork. The frame is 25" or very close to that. The frame has Nervex Pro lugs, original orange paint, and Vitus steel tubing. Paint and frame condition are good with little or no rust, dents, dings, etc. Frame/fork/hs & bb for sale for $200 plus shipping. Complete bike for $300 plus shipping. Please email if interested.
