I've recently acquired a Modolo brakeset with those sinterized pads on 'em.
I've heard the sinterized pads are brutal on anodized rims (true?) -- grey, blue, black, etc.
If so, what are the alternatives? Are there other brands or aftermarket pads that will fit right into the brake shoes, or some good shoeless pads I can use instead?
