Thought some of you might enjoy seeing a "new" road bike I acquired last weekend: http://www.potterspix.com/biking/moser/

The original owner, Carlos Gonzales, was a racer in the 80's with the Detroit area Wolverine Club during Frankie Andreu's days with the club. Their parents supposedly bought them the exact same frameset in the same color/ same size and they apparently were often mistaken for the other.

I've also got the original Cinelli bar/ stem, Campy pedals & brake levers.

A friend of mine said that it's possibly made by De Rosa. Looking at other De Rosa's from that period there are quite a few similarities. Would anyone happen to know if this frame was indeed made by De Rosa?

Unfortunately the frame tubing decal is about completely gone, but there are enough remnants to see that it's Columbus; anyone know what type of tubing would have been used on these frames? Also, for the life of me I can find no serial number on the frame; perhaps it was on the Cinelli BB shell where they cut out the FM? Anyone know where else to look for a SN?

By the way, I have no interest in selling this, I'm just looking for information for my own reference. This will be my first real road bike for myself in about a dozen years, so I can hardly wait for dry roads again!
