Subject: Re: [CR]IMPORTANT Information about FedEx Bicycle Shipment Values

Reading this thread has been a bit nerve-wracking for me as I am expecting a bike via FedEx ground shipment on Thursday, and pretty anxious about it. I've never had a bike shipped to me before. The bike was packaged by a bike shop and I spoke to them at length about their packing methods, and they seemed good. I did purchase additional insurance, but I'm really hoping not to have to use it! When I open the box I know it is going to be with a mixture of anticipation and dread. I guess it is too late to ask for advice on shipping methods, since it's already a done deal...but if anyone has some advice on what steps I should take after I receive the bike should there be damage, I would be
very appreciative.
