Bryan, Your bike is ready to pick up...
Odd the sort of things one finds among old bicycling ephemera. I just discovered an original sales receipt from the El Cajon Blvd Bicycle Store in San Diego. This fell out of a 1974 Peugeot Catalogue which had the store's stamp on the cover.
If anyone happens to know a Bryan Lucas, you can tell him I have the receipt from his white Peugeot UO8 which he bought on August 3 1974. frame size was 24" and he paid an additional $8 for "safety" Levers, and $1.95 for a kickstand. This brought his total to $157.90... plus an even 6% for state and local sales tax on top of that.
If anyone wants to reference the age of their own Peugeot, the serial number on this UO8 was 1032222B.
