Some of you know that I am a cycling official and am at the World Cup as an official.
At the "inscription" or rider sign up last night we had over three hundred race entries. That's a lot for a track event. That doesn't mean that we have 300 riders, since each rider may enter more than one event. It does mean that we have to have heat races for every mass start race. I have never been to World Cup where even the women have to ride qualifying events to make the final.
I think that whatever session you come to see, you are going to see some great competition!
