There IS a wee tad "Joe Bell and Bill Holland" connection to Masi: In the mid to late eighties a small batch of Gran Corsos(Corsas?) were painted in the Bell lab; that was my first visit to the Holland shop, when I loaded my pick-up with the finished frames. Anybody want the serial numbers to these frames? (Just kidding; ain't got.)
