A blast from the past! That was my old decal from 1960 through 1972. Our new building was done in '72/3 and when we moved in we got our new logo and identity of Ted Ernst Bicycles and the design still in use. The Bicycle Super Mart was the name a guy used when he opened the shop. When I returned from Europe, instead of staying in Chicago at my dad's shop, I came to California, and never went back. I had just gotten to the coast and was looking around to locate. I started working for him just few weeks after he opened. He was a used car salesman by background, didn't put the phone in any add because he wanted people to come in and not phone shop. After a few more weeks he became disillusioned with the basic structure of the bike game, and sold it to me. The rest is history. So that's an oldie and could be a goodie.
