That is one beautiful bike. Now I can get a better idea or my 71 Supercourse decals although they won't be exactly the same. Can't see all my stickers.

Nice pictures too. I bet it rides like a dream. Saw a 76 Professional at LBS this weekend. Not as pretty as yours, but still a priceless Black one. He said he paid $161 new, which is exactly what I paid for my Supercourse in 1971. Hmmm...

He said took his first ride he'd taken in over 5 years last Saturday and just averaged 15 miles/hr ... for 30 miles. Lol, of course he had a body of a professinal tennis player. Raleigh Professionals are dream ride bikes I bet, since my lesser bike rides so well.

I am really jealous of your bike and appreciate you showing your pictures! Nice detail tips for the wanna be Raleighs :-) I've got your link in my 'Paint' folder.

Just posted photos of my recently purchased 1972 Raleigh Pro at the following Wool Jersey address:

This model year used the "Fancy Lugs" and uncommon dropout eyelets (reported uncommon in USA imported bikes). Original paint and decals in great condition! Brooks Professional saddle is a modern replacement. Wheels were taken back to original large flange hubs, 3T-ttt Record stem to replace Cinelli 1A and downtube shifters to replace barcons that were installed as non-original. Decided to use Campagnolo gray brake casing and stainless rear derail casing over original spec'd white casing. Carlton "Belt" decals for fork blades ordered from Mike Swantak (blades didn't show evidence of having these decals, but understand they probably would have from factory). And yes Ray, that's Cinelli cork tape === sorry, I'll be riding this bike along with all my others.
