Now, we had a discussion (we are not quite so diligent about "On Topic" as the CR List is!) about a '72 Pro on my Yahoo Raleigh Team Pro group. Seems the lugs on your machine were used only in 1972 and were Hayden "birds mouth". Normally they used Prugnat lugs and a member suggested it was the usual bike boom shortage that led to the use of the Hayden lugs this year on many frames.
Great you intend to ride yours... I have yet to see a classic Raleigh Pro on the road around here. Astonishing really.
