hi gang,

A couple of weeks ago, there was a request for a copy of an old Bike Warehouse catalog. Since I like to justify my packrat tendencies, I scanned the 1980 Bike Warehouse catalog I've had tucked away. For those of you who remember when they used to actually number the edition of the catalog, this is #16.

To view this creation of Arni Nashbar, you can see it by visiting Mark Bulgier's remarkable on-line collection of bike goodies.. http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/BikeWarehouse-80/

To satisfy the Keeper of the Flame theme, you'll note that frame building supplies were sold in the catalog back then! Check out page 31. You'll also note that Bike Warehouse sold many of the classic marques back then; Holdsworth, Claude Butler, Gios, Pogliaghi, Cinelli, Colnago, Benotto, and Romic. Oh yeah.. the only Cannondales in this catalog are bike bags! Too bad I didn't have more disposable income in those days <..sigh..>

happy browsing!
