Bob and CR list :

Very Sincere Thanks for the catalog confirmation. I hear you on catalog non-accuracy. I guess the point here is nothing can be declared as absolute from an era that was scrambling to find profitability in the face of a variable supply chain, and ultimate decisions made by the hand on the torch. This Grand Jubile' is the second late 70's Moto that I've picked up with dropouts that seem to buck the trend. The other was a 1977 Grand Touring Mixte with Gipiemme Rear Dropouts (both original paint).

On my Grand Jubile' I can confirm the French 531 decal for the main tubes, but only the Moto winged decal on the forks.

Thanks again / Regards to all :

Catalogues are always a bit vague, and often not even truly accurate. Nevertheless, for what it's worth... these distinguish the two framesets by the addition of Campy dropouts and fork tips on the GR... <cut>
