Feels very late 60s-ish to me, Jay. Although, I'm no Bianchi enthusiast, so you can take it for what it's worth. I think I recall reading that they did away with the integrated headset (what this bike does NOT have) sometime around the mid-late 60s, but again, I don't know for sure. The Italian parts, like Campy, TTT stem, Univ brakes, etc. seem right, and I can't say about the Nervar cranks, Weinmann rims, or Wrights saddle, but I'd guess the Shimano item is not original. I FAR prefer that style of logo font, as opposed to what they adopted by the late 1970s (dunno how much earlier).

On another note, I'm afraid I have some bad news for you. After years of holding out and waiting for you, the Torpado Superlight finally gave up, and decided to take up house with a local friend of mine ... Todd. So, I'm sorry to report that the window of opportunity ... has now closed. :(

Anyway, it will still be close by for me (about 3 miles), so I'll be able to see it one rides, and the like. Another one bites the dust :)

Will you Bianchi experts check out this auction and shed some light on what model this frame might be, and if the components offered would be "correct" for this frame?
