I think the cyclone grouppo was early-mid 1980's, i really don't know the year and so I hope that this subject is on-topic (imho Suntour deserves KOF status except accushift.)

There are early cyclone cranks which are the same as Sugino GLP, sold on the Schwinn Tempo, which I helped a friend to purchase in 1985 time period (the first year with Tenax Tubing.) Here are some pictures of what I remember from the 1985 schwinn catalogue and buying that bicycle :

This should provide a starting point, the question is : were there any earlier versions of Cyclone cranks?

IMHO these are the prettiest cranks that were ever carried under the Suntour brand, more elegant than Superbe, i was thinking of getting such a crank at one point and noticed that cyclone and GLP are the same thing.

Some later Cyclone 7000 versions of this crank are available from Harris Cyclery in 160mm, but the 5 spider arms do not taper outwards like campagnolo in this version :
