Hmmm. Many fancier (!) Huffys were made by Mike Melton in Ohio, plus a very few by Landshark/John Slawta in medford, OR, for Andy Hampsten and then some by Serotta in NY? Hard to believe this fellow would have one of Hampsten's bikes (Only having 2 or 3 total been made.) Maybe he has Hampsten's Giro winner & doesn't realize it!!!!? Excuse the redundancy if this has been discussed- I was out on a frigid ride today and ran into a man on a really nice bike that was labeled HUFFY. Obviously not department store quality. I asked him who built it, and he didn't know the name- just that the builder was from Oregon. Any idea who built bikes for them over the years?
