Or, as I think most likely, someone at some point has theft proofed the frame with Huffy written on the downtube. I've seen folks do this plenty of times. I've also seen quite a few few of the special project Huffy's and I think all had other identifiers that they were special project bikes, like another decal with Olympic rings that sort of thing. All the Serotta built ones had stickers identifying them as such too I believe. If the downtube is the only thing that said it was a Huffy I'd guess it wasn't.

Though in support of the Oregon connection, didn't Mark Dinucci build some Huffy special project bikes? best, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives Just completed another rear-end and fork build in Vancouver, B.C.
