My experience... Pull the cartridge bearings, take them to a Bearing Supply house and they'll measure and match the bearings for you. The MAVIC bottom bracket uses standard size bearings by the way and they are very reasonably priced.

Also for informational sake, when a bottom bracket shell has been modified (faced) for a MAVIC 610 RD bottom bracket (chamfered using the MAVIC cutter) it still allows the use of a regular bottom bracket. If done properly to MAVIC specifications, it leaves 2mm of the outer edge of the bottom bracket shell face untouched so that you can use either style bottom bracket in the future.
