This tale doesnt fit any of the above catagories, but it worth telling anyways......
Back in the 70s my friend was driving his VW through a rough part of town when he saw these kids riding a silver bike that was clearly too big for them. As he slowed his bug to look at the bike, he could see them riding the top tube and doing skids on a park lawn. He couldnt believe his eyes when he saw CINELLI on the downtube. He then took a huge gamble and started honking his horn, brought the bug to a sudden halt and jumped out running and screaming, "Thats my bike!" The kids then threw down the silver Cinelli and bolted off in all directions. My friend carefully loaded the rescued Cinelli in his bug and took the bike to the local police station ; )
