Hello All,
I am a newbie and this is my first posting. I recently bought an 1982-83 Univega Gran Rally with Shimano 600 groupo. I have been looking, researching, and learning about classic bicycles for some time now, and this is my first purchase into the classic bike world. I bought it from another member of CR, Drew Ellison, who directed me to CR.
Anyways, I will post pictures of my developing restoring/personalizing of my Uni throughout the next year or two. I will likely have a multitude of questions.
My first question is, are there any other great leather seat manufacturers in existence other than Brooks? Perhaps of Japanese origin? I love Brooks seats, but I would like to keep my Uni entirely Japanese, and/or avoid Brooks seats because they are everywhere. Anything more unique?
