Hi everyone,

First off, thanks for providing the site and mailing list, the site has proved invaluable in my quest (so far) to build up my Benotto Modelo 2700 Pista Profesional.

A little about myself, I'm 27 and living in Toronto Ontario, I run a small company with a couple of friends one of which is also a dedicated bike geek as well, we've been building up track bikes for a couple years and this year we are really hoping to get to do some racing either in London, Montreal or even down in NYC. My first lightweight was actually a really awful peugeot that had definitely seen better days, but after riding mountain bikes through the city it won my heart with it's speed and agility.

So as mentioned, I'm still building up this Benotto frame I aquired and one of the last parts I'm in need of is a decent Chrome or Benotto-Champagne track fork. I've included a link to the frame I have (sorry the picture is so terrible, but my good camera is broken), I am in need of something with about 8.25-8.5 inches of steerer.

You can see the frame here - http://www.breadwinner.ca/benotto.JPG

I'm really interested to hear some of the stories and read through the archives. If anyone has any questions whatsoever, feel free to shout. Thanks again for any help, and if anyone's going to be at the bike show this weekend, maybe I'll see you there!

Ben.
