Hi Folks. I'm Jeff from Seattle Washington. I'm getting back into riding and collecting vintage racing bikes after a 35 year hiatus. I grew up in the Santa Clara (silicon) Valley of California where my favorite hangout was Cupertino bike shop. I belonged to Pedali Alpini bike club and raced amateur intermediate class as a kid in the early 70's. I'm still kicking myself after all these years for selling my 1970 58cm silver Masi Gran Criterium that I bought with money from my newspaper route. It was one of the first G.C.'s imported to the USA via Sugden and Lynch bike shop in Menlo Park CA. (where it was fitted and special ordered for me) As soon as I got it I drilled everything out so It would be just like Eddy's. So far I've managed to find a few nice bikes but my mid-life crisis would be complete if I could just find a silver '70 G.C. (that I could afford) however I may forgo the drilling this time. I'd like to thank all the people that make up this list for sharing their wealth of knowledge and Dale for keeping it in the public domain.
