Ok its time to sell some of the relics. Here's the first one of several that I am going to sell. None of these bikes will go on EBay.

There are several parameters that you all will need to follow though.

The first and foremost is: NO TIRE KICKERS. If all you want is a pic to see it but you really don't want it... Don't email me. These bikes are for sale only in the continental 48. I only use UPS for shipping. Buyer pays for all shipping costs and insurance. Local pick up is your other alternative. Payment: I will accept cash or wire transfer unless I KNOW you.

On to the first sale.... 1970's Austro Daimler Bicycle

1) Frameset 54.5cm center to center seat tube. 57.5cm top tube length. Made from Reynolds 531 Double Butted tubing on the frame and Reynolds 531 fork blades. Frameset is red in color with gold pin striping, chrome on the drop out flats front and rear, 16cm on the RH chain stay, and fork crown. Fork has a flat chromed crown. Frame has the following braise ons: Shifter bosses, 1 set of water bottle bosses, Campagnolo cable guides on top of the bottom bracket shell, and 1 chain stay stop on top of the chainstay. Frame and fork has recessed brake nuts.

2) Component Package Full Campagnolo Nuovo Record component kit with Drilled Super Record brake levers. Crankset: NR 170 with 42/52 rings. Crankset has the #3 inside the diamond Bottom Bracket: NR 68x120 with recessed fixed cup Front Derailleur: NR Clamp on with flat cage with 'C' clip holding pin. Rear Derailleur: NR Patent number 73 on top of the body. Shifters: NR Braise on Pedals: 1037 with Toe Clip fitting Hubs: NR 32 hole low flange with Mavic GL330 rim and tubular tire NR 36 hole low flange with Mavic GEL 280 rim with tubular tire. Headset: NR Road Brakes: NR with recessed nuts front and rear, Drilled SR brake levers, 3 Shimano Dura Ace Cable guides. Seatpost: Record Aero from a later year. Chain: Sedis Sport Freewheel: Suntour New Winner 7 speed straight block Stem: 3T Handlebar: 3T Saddle: San Marco Turbo

This bike has been hanging in dry storage since we moved here in 2001. Before that it was in dry storage in Maryland. This bike could be a daily rider for anyone from the start.
