I used to live in a small log cabin next to my parents house and since a dry and safe place for bikes was scarce I mounted my favourite Chesini flat on the ceiling in the only place it would not disturb and make you bang your head on it....over the bed. That way I also could look at it when trying to sleep. I was also forced to clean it after every ride otherwise it would drip in the bed....

Wish my girlfriend would accept this in our appartement now....although she liked it back then..

I think it is a fine idea to hang up your bike in between riding to and from work- best in your office you could keep a good eye on it.

I would think that mounting it on the ceiling flat take a little more time than just leaning on your desk, but if they let you spend the time every morning, it would look cool.
