I don't believe Raleigh used their odd ball bottom brackets in all their frames. Certainly the Pro I had (a '72) used a regular threaded english BB. So did a Grand Prix I had many, many years ago, if my fuzzy memory recalls correctly. Rob Hawks helped me build that one up, perhaps he recalls whether we had to scrounge an odd BB for it. I believe the unique Raleigh BB appeared only on the three speed machines, and also prior to 1965, but I am ready to be corrected.
