Re: [CR]Crooked British Ebay seller - redemption!

Well I resent being called a thug.....and so does Pergo, Bowne, and Swan. Ps. The food in England was so-so. We really didn't lay a hand on him but threatened to read to him one of Richard Sach's cyclocross team bullitins. He gave up without fight. BVVW eBay enforcement div. All

Since I denounced this fellow publically a bit over two weeks ago, it is most necessary to do a followup.

My faith in humanity is restored!

His name is Ian Tucker and he resides in Berkshire. Having paid by bank tranfer (which leaves VERY little recourse should things go wrong) I was suitably distraught after now being able to get a response out of seller for over three weeks!....

I heard from his son Adam a few days later. Apparently Ian had been beaten unconcious by four thugs, resulting in hospitalization and some memory loss. Adam shipped the bike and today it arrived safely.

I am most happy! It is a lovely red 1951 Claud Butler path racer. Hope to have picts on Wool Jersey soonest - if and when it is working.

Now all I need is some decent weather to ride in!
