I have a pair of nutted short reach NR calipers (OK condition, but not mint) and need a pair of nutted standard reach to build up a newly acquired early 70s paramount. Anyone have a long reach and need a short reach? Or alternatively, anyone have a long reach pair to sell? I could convert if you have a recessed nut long reach. Need not be mint - this is a rider, not a showbike. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Ed - From your note, I'd infer that you have a P15-9 or P10-9 "deluxe tourer," and they're great bikes. But these models were only offered with Weinman CP brakes (or Schwinn-Approved, I guess). Indeed, the "clincher" standard was still 27 x 1-1/4 wheels, not 700c, so they had beaucoup clearancce. It's your bike, of course, but is changing to Campy what you really want to do? BTW, the competing Raleigh International also used Weinmann CPs back then. They can be made to work just fine, although I always preferred the Universal 61 CP, myself.
