Subject: [CR]Confirmed: Pino Morroni tweaked 1973 Paramount track frame

I mentioned a few weeks ago, a 1973 Schwinn Paramount track frame that looks like it has alterations done by Pino Morroni. I want to submit (mostly for the archives, since I received only one email in response to my original posting) that I spoke with the previous owner, "Aldo", who confirmed that he bought the bike DIRECTLY from Pino. Pino was done with it and sold it to Aldo, a racer who started out in the late 1950s, who rode it happily for many years ... many years ago. It is a prototype or predecessor of his famous Telavio frames. Again, here is a link to two pages of photos showing the frame with Pino's hollow rod lateral stiffeners and circular cut-out under the b.b. shell, in addition to the PATENT PINO seatpost (made by Roto) that in a roundabout way, came with the frame.

This bike is WAY too big for me, and is currently on Ebay so it will make it to someone who will use and enjoy it's providence (please look for a subsequent posting, Ebay outing). So, I have to ask again ... should this be called a Schwinn Pinomount, a Schwinn ParaMorroni, or something else yet? :)
