Sorry about the garbled message I sent this morning. I tried to make the best of a break at work, but it seems the system there couldn´t keep up with the torrent of my good ideas.
Anyway, all I wanted to say was that I recently bought some replica hoods made by Robbie Fellows. They arrived promptly and after finding some time yesterday to fit them I must say they are very nice. The material is supple and stretches well, the hoods fit the levers perfectly.
Having yet to see a lower case character in any of Robbie´s CR posts I
was a little apprehensive about how the Campag script would be rendered, but even this was perfect.
My position about replicas is that in this case I don´t have a bad conscience. I understand Campag were asked to manufacture old style hoods but refused. Bad luck for them.
