Specialties TA have remade the Cyclotourist crankset in limited numbers and I have purchased a few sets. I have 170 or 175 and choice of 26-36-46 or 28-38-48 chainrings. I can get different chainrings and perhaps other arm lengths if they are not gone yet. Still made with that highly polished finish as always. They are pricey - $400 a set including all the chainring bolts, but if you need a nice shiny new TA to complete that pristine Jack Taylor or Alex Singer restoration, here they are. No TA BBs but you can use a Phil Wood or Shimano UN-73 or find a TA or Stronglight often on ebay if you want to keep it authentic. My choice is Phil Wood as they have been around since the early 70s.

Next, I am restoring a 30s Velox Red Devil track bike made by Alvin Drysdale of NYC. I have remade the decals and will have extra sets available, if you know anyone who has one and needs them. Please pass the word. They are $60 per set which includes a neat head badge, small round seat badge, VELOX downtube, and darts for the top tube, down tube, and fork blades. The art was done by Mike Swantak and they are an excellent reproduction of the originals. Ask for pics if interested. The Red Devils were made with A & P Kromo and those transfers are available from Lloyds.

Lastly, if you have admired the Ghisallo wood rims but never knew where to get them, I have two styles available, their Racing (Corsa) and their Elegant. Both 36 hole. Other styles and drillings available on special order. These are new mfg not NOS so they are not dried out or warped. They are $300 for the pair. These work great for road or track and look terrific on any bike. Wood rims are light and strong and offer an unbeatable ride quality. You can also send me your hubs for a perfect professional build. See the rims at http://www.cerchiinlegnoghisallo.com/pagine/prodottieng.php These have been made by the same family for 3 generations. How cool is that?

I will be off riding in Texas all next week but will try to answer any questions while I am gone. I will be able to ship the cranks now through Monday, the rims and decals after I get back. Credit Card or Paypal or Check OK.

cheers
