Subject: [CR]Hello Bay Area- Looking for a small bike for a friend

Hey all-

So I recently started a new job only to find that no less than 6 of my coworkers live less than a couple of blocks from me. Almost in conjunction with this new job, a new sort of laziness has set in and I find myself riding less and less to work and taking the bus (I know, I know). Anyhow, a couple of my neighbors have bikes and a couple more have expressed that the y would be willing to ride to work if they had a bike. This would be a perfec t motivator for me to get out there more and get off my.... during the week.

So, to get to the point. I¹m trying to help one co-worker find a bike. I showed her a couple and she seems to gravitate to roadster style mixtes fro m the 60¹s/70¹s. The whole fender and basket deal with promenade bars. I think she would be fine with a men¹s road bike as well as long as the TT wa s okay. Here¹s the rub. She¹s pretty short. 5¹3² ish. Her told me her budge t is anywhere from $75-$175, not huge, but doable.. And I have to note, that she is pretty into how it looks. To be fair, she¹s an art director so you can fault her for being visual.

So if anybody in the Bay Area has something sitting around collecting dust, or something they¹ve been considering selling, let me know. Take a quick snap, send it to me and what you want for it, and I¹ll run Œem by her. Contact me off list.

Thanks all.
