not too surprised...

the FUA is a super-crazy rare variant (of sorts) of the FU - an already desireable JOS taillight due to it commonly being used on high-end rene herse bikes with the taillight mounted to the seat tube.

ive seen FU lights go for upwards of $500 (and have sold one myself for $350, and that was in shopworn condition), so it doesnt surprise me at all that this FUA is going for this much. its the first one i can remember having seen in nearly 10 years of watching ebay for these kinds of things...

but a hefty wad of cash, all the same. i guess its a matter of different levels of disposable income, and differing ideas of value...

glad it showed up on ebay, though, cause i didnt have a pic of a FUA for my JOS site! :)
