Amir; I think I mis-read your question. I thought you were referring to the entire threaded hanger, but on further thought I suspect you're actually only referring to the pivot stop. Am I correct?

If so, it is quite trivial to melt a blob of brass onto the tab and file it to function as a pivot stop. You should be able to do this with minimal damage to the paint (restricted to the bottom of the hanger) because the hanger should heat quite quickly to brazing temperature before paint elsewhere gets too hot.
