Subject: [CR]1930's Legnano and 1950's Bianchi Campione del Mondo bikes for sale

A friend of mine in Italy has asked me to help him sell two bikes from his collection. I believe they both deserve to find a new owner from among the CR list membership.

I have a few photos of the bikes posted here: http://album.foto.alice.it/maasland/932061

I haven't been able to access the wooljersey site to post them there, so the size of the photos is somewhat limited. I can however email you copies of the originals.

The first bike is a Legnano from the 1930's. The bike has been completely restored, with every nut and bolt being newly nickel plated. The bike has wood rims, chain oiler, original fenders/mudguards, flip-flop rear wheel. The handlebar bottle cage is newer. The bike is 58 cm C/T with a 58 cm C/C top tube. This bike is rideable and not simply a wall-hanger. It could make for a great bike to ride in l'Eroica.

The second bike is a Bianchi Campione del Mondo from about 1954. Here too the bike has been fully restored. The frame was completely stripped, rechromed and then repainted. The parts have also been either fully polished or replated. It measures 56 cm C/T seat tube by 55 cm C/C top tube.

My friend would like 2000 euros each per bike plus shipping which should be about 200 euros each.
