These hubs really are extremely rare and are deserving of a top value. Of course, you also in bidding get to do business with someone who has been dormant since 2001, so you might even be dealing with a dead person - who knows, but that is kinda cool. And not only that, the location is listed as roughly Giant Flange Rene Herse - I sure haven't seen that on the map, so that is a special treat as well. Wonder what UPS zone that is.
Anyway, it appears that some folks have bid on the hubs to keep the less knowledgable folks out of contention (i.e those who don't smell scam) - and if ebay doesn't yank the auction, its going to be interesting seeing what the seller's final price ebay fee will be. But then again, in the land of make-believe it all doesn't matter.
