We're looking for a replacement fork (or just blades) for a later '50s Legnano. The one we have has a crack on the low end of one blade, just above the dropout.
The fork has me confused though. The steerer tube is splined, so almost certainly Columbus. The blades have a Continental oval shaped top, about 27x20mm at the crown. But they appear to be Reynolds: they are thinner and taper more constantly from top to bottom than Columbus, and end in a domed and slotted tip.
Was Legnano mixing tube sets back then? Or were early Columbus fork blades this shape? Or is it possible the whole fork is Falk tubing?
