Rich, I read the same article from Bicycling magazine in '75, and ran out and bought my Windsor Pro a few months later at Bikeology on Wilshire Blvd. I wanted the orange model - but they only had the silver ones left (got one like yours). My serial number (on the chromed seat lug) is 3197. I'm not sure the Windsor Pro was even available as early as '71 or '72 - I think the frames had to have been built BEFORE they were sold starting i n '75 - how much before? A few months?
