Subject: [CR]French dumpster find!?

Yesterday while driving in a local neighborhood I saw what appeared to be a rather old and inexpensive bicycle put out to trash. Normally I would hav e passed it by, but I noticed a set of nice MAFAC black lever hoods. Upon closer inspection I noticed the accompanying MAFAC 2000 brakes and Simplex Super LJ derailleurs. Needless to say I took her home after talking with t he property owner. Upon a much closer look I can’t seem to ID the bike. I would say it is French and from the mid to late 70’s, but this is about it. The bars are marked ‘Jeunet’ but I didn ’t know they built bikes with upper end parts or used 531 throughou t. Can someone help ID her. The bike is Candy Apple Red with contrasting black head lugs outlined in go ld. Chromed flat fork crown, fork and stay ends. Scalloped seat stay ends also painted in the contrasting black. A single black pin striping on the length of the top tube, seat stays and chain stays. It has late (mid 70 ’s) Simplex front and rear dropouts with nice crisp markings/logos. The initials ‘K K K’ stamped on the bottom of the BB. Wh at appears to be 011 stamped on the left rear dropout. French threading. The only decals present are the faded Reynolds 531 tubing throughout decal on the seat tube, just below the top tube, and a 531 triangle shaped fork d ecal on the right fork. The following is a list of parts that came with the bike: =09Stronglight Comp headset. =09Pivo stem and bars marked ‘Jeunet’ on one side, †˜Pivo’ on the other. =09MAFAC 2000 brake set, earlier engraved version. =09Simplex Super LJ front and rear derailleurs, with first generation retro friction shifters. =09Sugino ‘Mighty Competition’ cranks with 52/42 tooth ring s and Sugino BB. =09Ideale 2001 saddle. =09SR Laprade post. =09Campy Tipo low flange hubs with Mavic ‘Record Du Monde de L⠀™Heure’ rims, with very old Vitorria sew-up tires. =09Old Cyclo 5-speed freewheel. =09REG clamp-on bottle cage. My question to the list is what have I found?
