The Tubing is crimped similar to a Gilco framed Colnago master and the
lugs are Cinelli (at least the BB shell is)- drop outs are Columbus.
The needed info: Anyone know who made the tubing on these? Anyone have any pictures of a restored or nice Meteor? Mine is neither. Anyone know anyone who has decals? Should I bother with a rechrome -meaning is it worth the expense/effort/environmental impact?
This will be my first restoration involving paint, (maybe) chrome, and new decals.<<<<

You can't totally corner the market, since I have two Palettis, including a Meteor, probably similar to yours. That frame is probably circa '85 or '86. The crimping on the tubes is much more pronounced or exaggerated than that on the Colnago Gilco tubes. I suspect that Paletti had those tubes crimped for them. I don't remember if mine has a tubing sticker, but I don't think so. Mine is white at the head tube, seat and BB clusters, fading to a light/medium blue on the crimped areas of the three main tubes. Half chrome stays and fork legs. The frame has lots of Paletti-logo castings/engravings. Rather than the traditional top-eye "brand" treatment, the Meteor has what may be plugs of some type, with "Meteor" castings, about a quarter of the way down the seat stays. There was a set of Meteor decals from an Italian (I think) source on eBay a few months ago. I just tried to search completed auctions, but had no luck. Don't remember if they were actually listed as Paletti. I don't have any pix of mine at the moment, and my description is coming from memory since I'm not where I can look at the frame, but I'll try and get some pix soon so you at least have a starting point.
Does my description resemble what you have?
