ahh yes, but. witcombs get most of their frames finished by mario vas and he sends his repairs to them. so other frame you saw would likely have been finished by him. that saxon and the saxon wannabe (made with nos cappella lugs and 531 -NICE) were a bit special and had been sent the extra few miles out to dartford. the finish seemed more like a real enamel with a kind of glassy depth to the colour. hmmm.
