Subject: [CR]Respray via Vaz Finishes

Hi

Ignoring the deviation this thread took and to bring it back on topic;

I called Mario Vaz today, very nice and helpful;

Single colour £50 Single metallic colour £55 Transfers (per set) £15

Anything outside of this is cost per job, i.e. I'm going to take a picture of the bike from the catalogue and ask him how much.

I got the impression it's a nice business he's running there, he sets

his prices and it pays well enough. The quality of the finish will be as good as you ask for and the fees will match. I'm going to drop

in one day after work as I can get a train straight London Bridge (my

work) to his work will get a full quote and more details of the job and then report back.

Assuming I'll go ahead with Vaz I'll also photo the finished job.

Now any nonsense or ideas that he's some silly old guy who's underselling himself has got to stop, he's clearly running a business

and has set his prices to be competitive while profitable enough to be sustainable.

All you have to do is look at eBay to see that we're all part of a global marketplace, businesses on either side of the pond will have to set their prices to be competitive so if it costs less to ship, finish and return then to stay in business they'll have to set their prices accordingly.
