That sounds interesting, I'll look into those Microscale products...but I was going to offer the wisdom from a friend who does restoration and conservation of antiques and artwork: he recommended Copal varnish to both re-stick and as a protective topcoat. Problem is true Copal is very hard to find these days, but there are synthetic alternatives in art supply shops. I haven't tried the substitutes, but real Copal has worked fine on my flaky 531 decal. I'm curious as to what Tom uses on furniture.
