you are right that german has less of a tradition in building cycles than france, italy or maybe even the UK have. Nevertheless, i would guess that the numbers of listings on CR website represent more the preferences of its primary audience, the anglophone us/uk-based collectors, and are not a very good basis to start an analysis of the actual numbers.
