Yours is one of many very helpful posts and off-list e-mails I've gotten. You all are a cheerful and helpful lot, aren't you? I met with the seller on Saturday and looked it over, and liked it. Actually it spoke to me on several levels, and I bid on it. If I end up with it, it will get cleaned, lubed, overhauled, adjusted, given my first-ever set of tubulars, and ridden. Not polished to within an inch of its life, and not parted out. We'll see.
